ABOUT STAINGRIP

Stainless Steel Screw Manufacturing at StainGrip

StainGrip manufactures stainless steel screws in Jiangsu, China, for importers, distributors and brands. We connect screw production with material selection, surface treatment and packaging, helping you develop a catalogue range or prepare a product to your own specification.

OUR FACTORY

inside our Factory

Our factory in Jiangsu brings stainless steel screw production and order preparation together. The range covers fixings for timber, decking, roofing and sheet metal, with bi-metal constructions available for selected drilling applications.

Cold heading, thread rolling and tip forming are central to the manufacturing process. Material, geometry and finish are considered as one product specification, from the initial drawing through the checks required for the finished batch.

For a standard order, we review the selected design and configuration. For OEM work, we use your drawing, sample or product brief to define the dimensions, head and drive, thread, point, finish and packaging before production.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

From Material to a Finished Order

Each production stage follows the requirements of the screw being made. Grade, geometry, treatment and inspection are agreed for the product, rather than assumed to be identical across the range.

Material and specification

The range includes 304, 305, 316 and 410 stainless steel designs, alongside bi-metal products. We start with the specified grade, drawing and intended connection, then review which construction and dimensions belong in the order.

Cold heading

Cold heading forms the screw head and its drive detail. The head shape, seating surface and tool engagement are reviewed against the drawing, including any custom marking or head detail requested for an OEM design.

Thread rolling

Thread rolling creates the thread profile along the screw body. The selected pitch, threaded length and full or partial thread arrangement follow the product design and the materials the screw is intended to connect.

Point and tip forming

Point production gives the screw its specified entry geometry. Sharp points, cutting tips and drill points serve different designs, so point type and the intended support material are reviewed together when the product is selected.

Product-specific treatment

Heat treatment is used where the screw material and design require it, including selected 410 stainless steel products. Passivation or a special coating can then be specified to suit the required surface condition, appearance and project brief.

Inspection and packing

The finished product is checked against the agreed dimensions, configuration and inspection plan. Packing requirements complete the order: bulk supply, inner packs or private-label presentation can be discussed with the product labels and shipping marks.

QUALITY & TESTING

Checks That Follow
the Product

Quality planning connects the purchase specification with the finished batch. Material records, dimensional checks and performance testing are considered together, with the test method and acceptance criteria matched to the screw being supplied.

Material and dimensional checks

Review the material and key dimensions against the drawing, including head, drive, thread and point details, with records defined in the order requirements.

Mechanical performance

Pull-out, torsional and shear testing can be included in the assessment. The fixture, support material and test conditions are specified for the product.

Corrosion and coating assessment

Salt-spray testing assesses selected surface-treatment systems in a controlled test. Exposure time and acceptance criteria belong to the agreed coating specification.

Standards and documentation

Include the required standards and inspection documents in your enquiry. We review the applicable product scope and document requirements before the order is confirmed.

MORE THAN THE SCREW

Built Around Your Requirements

Special Coating Solutions

Where a project calls for an additional surface treatment, we can review passivation, electrophoretic coating, polymer coating and Ruspert coating options with you.

The treatment is selected alongside the stainless steel grade, installation environment, colour and testing requirements. We review the coating system and the required performance criteria for the specified screw.

OEM & Private Label Packaging

Bring us your drawing, product specification or packaging brief. Custom work can cover dimensions, head and drive details, markings, finish and the way the product is presented to your customers.

Pack formats, printed artwork, product labels and barcodes can be included in the brief. Samples and initial inspection requirements can be reviewed before a custom production order proceeds.
